Update on PDG Bryon Puddy's Progress.
Roger visited Bryon at Cabrini Brighton Health yesterday and was amazed at his attitude, confidence and commitment to his twice-daily re-hab.
Bryon was transferred to Brighton from Maryvale last Friday, which is really convenient as the centre is so close to his daughter, Jocelyn. and family.
Just 8 days after his knee replacement surgery, Bryon is walking confidently on the walking frame, but also manages crutches and can stand and carefully walk unassisted for a few steps.
Clearly, he is profiting from the morning and afternoon physio sessions which last from 45 to 60 minutes. He showed me the gym room which includes parallel bars and stairs to negotiate.
Rotarians will be pleased to hear of Bryon's progress (and renowned discipline and application to recover asap) and welcomes phone calls etc from friends. He will remain at Brighton Health for another 7+ days before going to stay with Jocelyn for a fortnight.
